First day of classes...
Today was my first day of class! Nothing especially fascinating to report, however I did have these ... interesting experiences:
-One professor who had the nerve to say "you guys will just have to spend a little more money" - on eleven books for the single class, mind you - "to get new copies because I don't tolerate used ones."
-An excellent first Sign Language class in which there was no verbal speech by anyone whatsoever. It. Was. Fabulous.
Movie night on the floor with my roomie...
The lovely walk to gymnastics on the Chelsea Piers...
An urban flower sprouting from the sidewalk...
And today's rainy view of Washington Square from the dining hall at dinner:

On a random note, here are some pictures I've collected over the week:
A bajillion or so clubs at NYU Club Fest (I signed up for Quidditch tryouts, of course!)...
Some more rooftop lights...

Cheers! :-)
Eleven new books for one class, whew! And you have to get new books because the prof can't tolerate new ones? - I don't get it.
